Google Chat introduced scheduled messages in December 2025, allowing users to send messages at a later date or time, up to 120 days in advance. The feature allows better communication across time zones and helps avoid off-hour messages. Users can schedule messages on both desktop and mobile by selecting a send time before sending. Scheduled messages appear under a banner and Drafts section, where they can be edited, rescheduled, sent immediately, or cancelled before delivery.
