President-Elect Donald Trump hasn’t taken the oath of office yet, but he’s already had a pop culture impact.

One late-night comic pushed partisanship aside to speak actual truth to power. Progressive host Jon Stewart railed against President Joe Biden’s blanket pardon for son Hunter Biden from his “Daily Show” perch.

“I didn’t know pardons covered crimes you ‘may have’ commited. I’m surprised Biden didn’t include the phrase ‘on Earth 1 or any of the Earths in the multi-verse,’” he said.

Progressive stars have fled the free speech confines of X for the fledgling Bluesky platform following Trump’s re-election. The list includes Mark Hamill, Rob Reiner, Alyssa Milano and Stephen King.

A more startling example?

Actor Kevin Spacey, still canceled for serial sex abuse allegations, recently visited Israel alongside journalist Douglas Murray. The trip allowed the two-time Oscar winner, who has been cleared in two court cases but faces a new legal hurdle in 2025, to view areas of the country devastated by the Oct. 7 attacks.

It’s hardly a move an actor seeking a Hollywood comeback would take. Many of his peers have sided with the Palestinian cause following Oct. 7.

Perhaps Spacey felt his appearance mattered more than any career repercussions. Or he understood the old rules no longer apply in the Age of Trump 2.0.

J.K. Rowling never holds her tongue, but she targeted a progressive institution in her latest e-blast. The “Harry Potter” author slammed The New York Times for minimizing death threats against her tied to her trans views.

“Opponents of gender ideology haven’t merely ‘endured unsparing criticism’. I haven’t simply been told I ‘betrayed real feminism’ or received a few book-burning videos.”

“I’ve been sent thousands of threats of murder, rape and violence,” Rowling continued. “A trans woman posted my family’s home address with a bomb-making guide. My eldest child was targeted by a prominent trans activist who attempted to doxx her and ended up doxxing the wrong young woman.”

Pop culture stars are defying the woke groupthink. That extends to a classic ’70s band.

President-Elect Trump turned the Village People’s signature song “Y.M.C.A.” into a rallying cry and dance. It’s spread across the culture, from social media to football celebrations.

Victor Willis, who co-wrote the song with Jacque Morali, could have slammed Trump for co-opting the popular track. He might have done so out of fear for his career just a few years ago. Instead, he thanked Trump for its revival.

“The financial benefits have been great as well as Y.M.C.A is estimated to gross several million dollars since the President Elect’s continued use of the song,” Willis wrote. “Therefore, I’m glad I allowed the President Elect’s continued use of Y.M.C.A. And I thank him for choosing to use my song.”

Actress-turned-filmmaker Justine Bateman said she felt like she could breathe again after Trump defeated Vice President Kamala Harris on Nov. 5.

Apparently, she’s not alone.
