I used one of Thermacell’s E-series on a recent camping trip, and my friends and I were unbothered by mosquitos entirely. I’ve use it on my front porch since: almost no mosquito bites. Thermacells are hassle-free to use, too. You just charge it up, hit start, and the device silently diffuses an odorless chemical (allethrin or metofluthrin, both synthesized from Chrysanthemum flowers) into the air, creating an invisible 20 foot forbidden zone for mosquitos. Sadly, it doesn’t actually kill the mosquitos, but you can’t have everything.
