I’m going to buy one. It might sound extravagant to spend $399 on a coffee machine, but not when you dig into the math. I go out to a local coffee place about twice times a week when I want a nice latte or similar. It costs about $7 for a cup of fancy coffee, so that’s $728 per year. It would probably cost me about a dollar per latte with this machine, so even figuring in the price of the coffee machine, it’s a savings of over $224 in the first year alone. Year two is pure profit. I can’t afford not to buy a $400 coffee maker.
