That’s not saying much, but it matters.
The outlet gave coverage to both “Screams Before Silence” and “October 8,” haunting documentaries tied to Hamas’ barbarism. Most outlets ignored “Silence” entirely despite its YouTube availability.
Legacy Media in general has downplayed the serial attacks on Jewish people in Western society, from college campuses to censored artists. Many Hollywood news sites looked the other way as Jewish acts have been canceled in recent months, including Michael Rapaport, Matisyahu and author/actor Brett Gelman.
Any sign of progress in this area matters. Yet TheWrap.com did itself, and its readers, a grave disserve with an immigration-themed piece.
The framing below is nothing short of ghoulish.

Others used language Hollywood in Toto prefers not to share whenever possible. The rage is justified.
Why would an outlet that has covered the shocking antisemitic wave stoop to such a low? The answer is simple and sad.
President Donald Trump.
Hollywood outlets consider themselves part of the anti-Trump Resistance. It’s why we’re suddenly seeing listicles about the best anti-fascism films from several outlets.
“In case you need to watch something to remind you there’s hope right now,” warned the same far-Left Indiewire which ignored serial attacks on speech and freedom during the Biden era.
Still, using the Anne Frank reference in a news story feels like a new journalistic low. And, sadly, it might seem quaint in a few months given how corrupt modern journalism is in the Trump era.
