Prime Day 2025 is here from Tuesday, July 8 to Friday, July 11, and Lifehacker is sharing the best sales based on product reviews, comparisons, and price-tracking tools.

There seems to be countless grill options available, but as an apartment dweller with a balcony, they don’t apply to me. Charcoal grills require an open space, while gas grills are usually too big and also have the whole “open flame” problem. Electric grills are great for my restrictions, but they’re a little limited. Specifically, I want to smoke meat. Will no one let me smoke meat?

It turns out that Ninja wants to let me have my way, so they made the Ninja Woodfire Pro Outdoor Grill and Smoker that I can use on my balcony. Yes, they made it just for me, but it’s $100 off right now for Prime Day, and so I’ll share I suppose.

I’ve been absolutely dying to try out the Ninja Woodfire Pro. It’s an outdoor-specific electric grill meets air fryer and smoker because of the clever addition of a wood pellet box in the lid. It’s a great entry point for folks who’ve been interested in smoking meats but aren’t sure they want to invest in a massive apparatus yet. It’s suited for a tabletop, but big enough to smoke a small ham or brisket, and it’s completely electric. It’s also weather-resistant, and with the addition of outdoor accessories (like a waterproof cover) you can let it live out on the balcony in most cases.

To be a total Woodfire pro, all you have to do is load up the pellet box (with Ninja Woodfire specific pellets), set the dial to “smoker” and dial in the cooking duration and temperature. The Woodfire takes care of the rest.

You could opt for the regular Ninja Woodfire which is 26% off for $273.99, but for $26 more I suggest the Pro model. It includes a built-in thermometer so you can easily see if your brisket or watermelon (remember when smoked watermelon was a thing?) is finished cooking, or if it needs another 30 minutes or so. It’s worth it to keep the smoke in and take the guess-work out. Then your balcony neighbors won’t get too jealous.
