Snapchat has introduced a new generative AI Lens called Anime which allows users to create anime-styled images of themselves. By tapping a ‘Tap the Screen’ button, the Lens will prompt users to take a selfie. Generative AI will follow, creating a unique version of the user in cartoon-like form. The technology allows users to take an unlimited number of photos, and the Lens will avoid ever delivering the same result twice. Snapchat previously rolled out a personalized AI feature called My AI, which uses ChatGPT to enhance daily experiences.
