Some physicists argue our universe may be just one bubble in a much larger multiverse. Inflation theory suggests countless universes can form, each with different physical laws, while quantum mechanics allows branching realities. This idea could explain why cosmic constants appear finely tuned for life. However, other universes may be fundamentally unobservable, leaving the multiverse an intriguing but still unproven scientific possibility.
