Samsung may be preparing a global launch for a new foldable smartphone expected to debut as the Galaxy Wide Fold. A new report says that multiple SM-F971 variants have appeared in the GSMA IMEI database, suggesting launch across several regions. The device is believed to be a wider Galaxy Z Fold variant planned for 2026, with a larger, squarer display. Other reports suggest Samsung could produce up to one million units and launch it alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Galaxy Z Flip 8 later this year.
