Microsoft brings Bing Chat to Google Chrome, Safari, but there’s a catch

Microsoft has expanded the accessibility of its Bing AI chatbot for Google Chrome and Safari users, previously only available on the Edge browser. However, users will still have limited features, such as a 2,000-word prompt limit and conversation resets after five turns, with Microsoft encouraging Edge downloads. A dark mode option for Bing Chat has also been rolled out but is not yet universally available. Google’s Bard chatbot can be accessed outside Chrome, including in Edge where prompts to compare answers with Bing appear.
