Fortnite has returned to the Google Play Store in the US, Epic Games announced on Friday. This marks the culmination of a five-year legal battle, which began in 2020, when Epic Games filed a lawsuit against Apple and Google for their allegedly unfair and anti-competitive platform rules. While the multiplayer game returned to the App Store in May, Google’s pending appeal against the 2023 judgement led to its delayed return to the Play Store.
