Elon Musk has announced that Twitter will be rebranded as ‘X’ app, originally intended to be a financial one-stop shop for transactions. He had purchased the domain name in 2017, and in 2023 Twitter became a part of the X group with companies including SpaceX and Neuralink. SpaceX aims to make space travel more affordable and accessible, while Neuralink intends to develop brain-computer interfaces to help people with disabilities control devices with their minds. Musk tweeted about the new name, URL and redesigning the logo and colour theme of the app.
