Chinese smartphone makers are said to be testing under-display 3D facial recognition technology. This could allow the brand to provide a secure face unlock feature in its upcoming phones without visible camera cutouts. The 3D Face recongnition feature is currently available on some Android phones from Honor and ZTE.
