Micron is shutting down its consumer-focused Crucial brand to prioritise fast-growing AI and data-centre memory segments. The company will stop shipping Crucial products by February 2026, though warranties remain valid. Micron says the shift will help support larger enterprise customers amid soaring AI-driven demand. The move ends nearly three decades of consumer RAM and SSD releases and comes during a global memory shortage.
